What you can expect

Can you imagine yourself running a team that is responsible for System Engineering for the innovative electrified powertrain products? Innovation and the challenges of the automotive industry drive you? You are at the right place! As an experienced manager you are part of the Engineering Management Team in Traiskrichen. With a team of around 60 enthusiastic and highly skilled engineers you will bring the department to next level to face the future challenges and demands.
Among other things, the following tasks will be your area of responsibility:

  • Manage and develop the System Engineering & Product Function Groups (PFG) team and ensure the right competences in the organization to develop electric drives and axles
  • Define and implement strategic goals for your area of responsibility
  • Ensure adequate resources are assigned and balanced as needed for projects from the Systems Engineering groups
  • Promote, encourage, and facilitate a professional, collaborative project culture amongst cross functional engineering teams and manage the interfaces to other areas
  • Support to strengthen the corporation between all engineering sites and the cross-group cooperation to maximize synergies and re-use effects
  • Manage customer, supplier, partner and internal interfaces to the product engineering organization and program management
  • Drive consistency and efficiency throughout the entire engineering process from concept to launch in terms of a continuous improvement process within the department
  • Work closely with the Global System Engineering & PFG Lead to ensure a future ready organization for eMobility

What you bring along

  • Min. ten years of experience in various Product Engineering, Program Management, Quality, or other technical related fields required
  • Experience with Mechatronic Systems Development (mechanical, electronics, and software).
  • Good knowledge in Automotive SPICE Standards & processes
  • First experience in leadership roles required, with increasing responsibility and demonstrated success in leading and developing teams
  • Customer and market experience
  • Proven and demonstrated problem-solving capabilities with strategic, analytic thinking
  • Proven ability to work in complex matrix organizations and to develop them to the next level of excellence

Salary:
For this function, they offer an attractive compensation package that matches your individual experience and qualifications. The gross salary per year for this position is starting at € 95,000,– plus variable remuneration components. The actual compensation package will then be determined depending on your education and qualifications as well as your relevant work experience.
